  • How do you make a release date last for more than a day, and still keep it interesting? This was the key questions for us on this campaign. As being a part of the band, I teamed up with I Made This to work on this. The goal was to make this release last for 10 weeks.

We started by register violenceistimeless.com. This would be used as the home & digital platform for the release. We began asking friends and fans to film & direct an exclusive video each for a song featured on the album. There was an amazing feedback and Jason Lytle, Ebbot Lundberg, Shelby Cinca, Joe Lally & Nina Zanjani among others was aboard within days.

The campaing started with the released of the vinyl version of the album on August 31st. We made this a Limited Edition of 500 copies. The LP came with an album download card and goodies that could be found on violenceistimeless.com. We then started releasing a video every monday, every week - in total 10 videos - ending with the last video and full album release worldwide on October 30th.

  • The title "Violence is Timeless" made me decide to go with the art of shapes. Shelby Cinca had made an icon that had stuck with the band over the years, and I started playing around with that and soon came up with the idea of drawing a new font based on this icon. The following versions was made:

12" Vinyl with Digital Download Card (Limited edition 500 numbered copies)
Digipack Deluxe (Limited Edition 2000 copies)
Jewelcase CD with Ocard (Unlimited Copies)
  • When designing and making the structure for the new website for DOLL, we wanted to integrate all the social networks that the band was on. Flickr, Tumblr, Youtube, and Twitter was chosen as the big four. Johan Grettve build the site on the WordPress platform, for easy updates and edits.
